On March 10, 2017 Master Class of Sumi-e Painting with Yamada Sensei (Video)

On March 10, 2017, from 11:00 to 12:30, at Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts took place a master class of sumi-e painting with Yamada sensei. The event was organized by  “Hikari” Armenian-Japanese Scientific, Educational and Cultural Center NGO and the Embassy of Japan in Armenia. The supporters of the event were JTI and Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts. The latter has provided its hall for two days free of charge. The previous day there was held a class of ikebana.

The participants of the event got a present – the directory “Hello Japan” published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

In the beginning of the event, the student of Yamada sensei Olga Silizanova spoke about the umio-e painting and about the items put on the tables of the participants.

Then there started the master class of Yamada sensei.
