Statement of the Embassy of Japan in Armenia on the memorial event hosted by the Government of Armenia
1.On the occasion of the memorial event in Yerevan hosted by the Government of Armenia on 24 April, Japan expresses its deepest sympathies to the many Armenians who lost their lives during a certain period in the past.
2. Many lives have been lost due to numerous wars in history. It is our determination to never repeat such tragedies again in the 21st century.
