ARARAT Nairi brandy won a gold medal in Tokyo Whisky and Spirits Competition

In June in the capital of Japan, the Tokyo Whiskey & Spirits Competition concluded its works, as a result of which 20-year-old ARARAT Nairi brandy was awarded the gold medal and “Category Winner” title.

The Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition, operated by the Japan Research Center, aims to reveal and promote high-quality spirits worldwide. This year, 427 drinks from different countries participated in the competition, including a variety of world-renowned brands. The competition was fierce for ARARAT Nairi, but the legendary Armenian brandy overcame both the first stage of the competition, the individual expert evaluation and the second-panel discussion and appeared in the “Best of the Best” category, as a result of which the golden victories of the competition were distributed.

“I am glad that by redesign of our packaging and opening a new chapter in the history of ARARAT brandies, we were soon highly appreciated in different parts of the world by the most sophisticated specialists. I think, it comes to emphasize that the legendary Armenian brandy unconditionally continues the best traditions of victories, opening new perspectives for a wider and more comprehensive promotion of the brand”, – said Serge Khachatryan, Chief Operating Officer of Yerevan Brandy Factory.

ARARAT Nairi brandy created in 1967, has won more than 30 gold medals in the world’s most prestigious competitions, but this is the first victory from the land of the rising sun.
