On July 15, 2023 at IROHA Center there was celebrated the traditional Japanese holiday Tanabata. The event began with the greeting of the President of the Iroha Center Ruzan Khojikyan and the presentation of the order of celebration to the audience.

Then there was a nice small performance about Tanabata in Japanese, this year with an interesting, humorous interpretation by the center’s staff.

After that in accordance with the meaning of the holiday all the attendees wrote down their dreams on papers and hung them from the branch .

In fact they should be hung from the branches of a bamboo tree but as they don’t grow in our climatic conditions, so there was used a beautiful branch this year for this purpose.
Then an interesting traditional Japanese game Nagasisoba took place, which greatly enlivened the audience.
