In Yerevan there will be opened a park named after the first woman consul in the world, Consul of the First Armenian Republic to Japan Diana Apcar. The corresponding decree was adopted on October 8 at the session of Yerevan Council of Elders.

It is particularly mentioned in the decree: “The central avenue – the intersection of Saryan, Byuzand, Karen Demirchyan streets and Mashtots avenue is named after the Armenian prominent public figure, writer,the first woman consul in the world, Consul of the First Armenian Republic to Japan Diana Apcar”.
