On November 3, 2017 at 14:00 to 15:00 o’clock, “JAR” Japanese-Armenian Relations Development NGO organized an event “Japanese Culture Day” in Naregatsi Art Institute. At the beginning of the event there was presented the event itself.

After that, there were presented individuals and organizations, which present the Japanese culture in Armenia.

At first there was presented the book of Armenologist, historian, Diaspora scholar, translator Artsvi Bakhchinyan - “Armenian-Japanese Historical and Cultural Relations”.

The book was presented by the Assistant at Finance Chair of Yerevan State University, Candidate of Economics, fan of Japan Anna Vardanyan. Anna has studied in Japan and she still has contacts with Japan.

Then there delivered a speech the president of the “IROHA” Armenian-Japanese Educational and Cultural Exchange NGO Ruzan Khojikyan.

After that Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, which presents the Japanese culture in Armenia was presented by the student of that university David Gritsenko.

Then guitar player Sargis Burnazyan performed a Japanese song.

And the closing performance was given to the coach of “Armenian Federation of Kendo” Sofi Musoyan, who finished the event with a demonstrative performance with her assistant.
