On April 25, 2015 from 14:00 to 15:30 p. m. at Komitas Museum-Institute there took place the concert of the Japanese pianist Keiko Shichijo, who lives in Amsterdam now. The concert was organized and sponsored by the Embassy of Japan in Armenia. At the beginning of the concert, the acting ambassador Sasame Kenichiro delivered a speech in Armenian. Then Shichijo spoke a little praising the Armenian hospitality and warmth. She said that she sees many similarities between the Armenian and Japanese nations.
The works of Bach and Mozart and Komitas were masterly performed.
The hall was full of audience. Everyone left the concert with great satisfaction. After saying many kind words to Keiko Shichijo and taking photos with her, the members of the audience expressed hope that these kind of concerts will launch other concerts in Armenia, which will contribute to bringing our two nations closer.
