The Celebration of “Tanabata” Festival at “Hikari” Center on July 7, 2016

On July 7, 2016 at 17:00 o’clock at  Armenian-Japanese “Hikari” Scientific-cultural Center, took place the celebration of “Tanabata” festival. First of all the audience entering the center, wrote wishes on colorful, long and rectangular papers, which are called “tanzaku”, after which they decorated the bamboo leaves with their works.

Then the ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in the Republic of Armenia Mr. Eiji Taguchi and other employees of the embassy decorated the bamboo leaves with their wishes and entered the hall.

After the president of Armenian-Japanese “Hikari” center Karine Piliposyan had told about the events of that day, the students of the center Diana Shatveryan and Shushanna Tonoyan in the Armenian and Japanese languages for approximately 20 minutes presented to the audience “Tanabata” festival.

After that they sang a song dedicated to “Tanabata” festival

and then there was shown an anime, which lasted for nearly 30 minutes.
