Japanese Agriculture: Traditions and High Technologies (Video)

On December 17, 2019, on Tuesday from 15:00 to 17:30 in the hall of “Investment Support Center” Foundation (Address: 5a Mher Mkrtchyan, Yerevan, RA) there took place a seminar titled “Japanese Agriculture: Traditions and High Technologies”. The speaker of the seminar was the cofounder, director of “«ORWAKO» CJSC, cofounder, president of “Organic Armenia” association Lusine Nalbandyan.

By the initiative of “Investment Support Center” Foundation she has recently participated in the five weeks’ course “Development of Local Economies by Means of Marketing and Management” organized by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency). She shared with the guests her experience and knowledge gained in Japan.

She introduced to the attendees the secrets of management and peculiarities of running agriculture in Japan. There were discussed the following topics:

1. Natural agriculture

2. Japanese agricultural cooperatives

3. Tokachi Agricultural Kingdom

4. JAS organic and technical standards

5. Agro-forests, food forests

6. One village, one product

7. Permaculture

8. Regional strategy, food valley (industrial cluster)
