Japan Envisages to Provide MES RA with 36 Fire-fighting Trucks and 3 Ladder Trucks

On October 7, in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia the Director of Rescue Service of MES RA, r/s colonel Mushegh Ghazaryan and Senior Adviser of the Chief Director of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Head of Expert Group Hiroyuki Hayashi are going to sign a protocol on the preparatory study of the Armenian-Japanese program on the improvement of fire-fighting-rescue equipment in the Republic of Armenia.

As we are informed from the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA, the main goal of the grant program “Improvement of Fire-fighting Equipment” is to modernize the equipment and trucks of Syunik, Lori and Shirak regional subdivisions of Rescue Service of MES RA, which will contribute to the economical and social development of the mentioned regions.

In the frameworks of the program, it is envisaged to provide the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA with 36 fire-fighting trucks and 3 ladder trucks, which will be exploited in the above-mentioned regions.
