日本の支援を受けて、Yolyan血液学センターには新しい診断装置が補充されます

YEREVAN, JANUARY 27, ARMENPRESS.Hematology Center named after Yolyan with the assistance of the Japanese Embassy in Armenia, will receive new diagnostic equipment, which will make the diagnosis of blood cancer more accurate.

As reported by Armenpress, the equipment will be provided to Armenia within the framework of the agreement signed between the Embassy of Japan in Armenia and the Yolyan Hematology Center of the RA Ministry of Health.

Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan stressed that thanks to this new cooperation, the Yolyan Hematology Center will go one step further in the issue of diagnosis and monitoring of blood cancer. “This device will undoubtedly contribute to further improvement of the technical capabilities of the center, thereby ensuring control over one of the main causes of death in our country. Improving the diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Health of Armenia. We highly appreciate the support of our Japanese colleagues and attach importance to our long-term and effective cooperation,” Avanesyan said.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Armenia Masanori Fukushima noted in his speech that he is very glad that grant assistance will be provided to the hematology center to improve the possibilities of diagnosing blood cancer. “We are full of hope that through this program we will contribute to the development of the healthcare sector of Armenia, as well as to improving the quality of life of people,” the ambassador said.

Director of the Hematology Center Samvel Danielyan emphasized that acquisition of this device will contribute to a more accurate diagnosis of all patients undergoing treatment at the Hematology Center and the organization of more competent treatment tactics. “The device that is currently working in Armenia has long since run out of time, and with the assistance of the Japanese government and the ambassador, we have the opportunity to update it,” he said.
