Mariam Amar, together with her family, moved to Armenia in 2012. And the last 2 years of high school she studied in a Russian school in Armenia. And the study in the Russian school is conditioned by the fact that her mother is an Armenian from Tbilisi, who has met her Syrian husband while studying in Tbilisi. And of course in their family they spoke either Arabic, or Russian.
Mariam Amar’s love towards Japan has started from watching anime and drama. And her love towards Japan was so big that when her family moved to Armenia her uncle found a teacher of Japanese in the face of Ruzan Khojikyan with whom she started to study Japanese. And now it is already one year that she attends “Iroha” Japanese language teaching center, which is managed by the same Ruzan Khojikyan.
It is just a few months that she studies at Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, Faculty of Linguistics, section of the English and Arabic languages, which in fact she masters well enough. She has chosen this faculty in order to study the Armenian and Russian languages better.
