On March 14, 2017, from 15:00 to 16:00 p.m., at the conference hall of the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University took place the ceremony of receiving grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for the University. The Grant is intended for the improvement of the conditions of studying Japanese and opening a center of the Japanese language at the University. The opening of the ceremony was done by the rector of the Slavonic University Armen Darbinyan.
Then there delivered a speech the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in RA Eiji Taguchi.
Then the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan in RA Eiji Taguchi and the rector of the Slavonic University Armen Darbinyan signed a corresponding document on the provision of the grant.
After that, Karine Karamyan sensei announced about the concert organized by the students of the Slavonic University. Before starting the concert, she handed certificates to the participants of the qualification test (日本語能力試験), which was conducted for the first time in Armenia in 2016.
Then there was a Japanese dance
and a small performance.
