The members of the sambo team of Armenia that have taken part in the World Championship of Sambo in Japan have returned early this morning.  This is announced by the Sambo Federation of Armenia and they also inform that many fans of sambo have met them, especially the world champion Mavrik Nasibyan, who was the strongest of the combat sambo in 74 kg weight. Mavrik Nasibyan said to sambo.am, that he dedicates his victory to the Armenian pilots who were martyred in the sky of Artsakh.

The source also mentions, that the new champion and bronze medalist Ashot Danielyan are from Artsakh and they represent Stepanakert branch of Sambo and Dzudo Olympic Junior Sports School.
The World Championship of Sambo has taken place on November 21-23, in Narita, Japan with the participation of around 600 sportsmen from 80 countries of the world.
