Meeting with the Students of Waseda University in IROHA Center (video)

On November 3, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. in IROHA center there took place a meeting with the students of Waseda University. There were 8 students, who had come to Armenia accompanied by the lecturer of algebra at Waseda University Moris sensei. They had come on October 27 and returned on November 4.

As the aim of the visit was to study the culture of the Armenian nation, during the visit they went to Garni, Geghard, Khor Virap, Noravank, Tatev Monastic Complex, Khnzoresk. In Yerevan, they visited Armenian – Russian (Slavonic) University and had a meeting with the Japanese-speaking students.

On the last day, they met the students of IROHA Center. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere around the table. First of all, under the guidance of the president of “IROHA” Armenian-Japanese Educational and Cultural Exchange NGO Ruzan Khojikyan there was quickly laid a small table of hospitality.

The students who had arrived from Japan and the Japanese-speaking Armenian students from Armenia got acquainted and had a pleasant talk with each other.

During the two hours of the meeting, they showed the art of mastering the Japanese toy kendama,

the Armenian students performed a famous Japanese song,

the students of Waseda university sang a song about their university

and there took place many other things, which were of mutual interest.
