On February 17, 2016 at 19:00-20:00 p.m. at  “Hikari” Armenian-Japanese Cultural Center there was shown Irina Tsaturyan’s collection of stamps, which consisted of 1000 samples.

The ambassador of Japan in Armenia Mr. Eiji Taguchi
also with great interest participated in the exhibition.
The oldest stamp shown dated back to 1948.

She has started to collect stamps since 1961 mainly by means of the Internet. Since 2005, she has started to collect Japanese stamps too. Her love towards Japan has started still at school age: the Japanese literature read has awakened great love towards the Japanese culture.
This collection was shown for the first time on November 26, 2015 in Citadel in the frameworks of philately exhibition.
Then, for several times, participating in the sumi-e event and Japanese movie shows organized by the Embassy of Japan to Armenia and “Hikari” center, Mrs. Irina Tsaturyan suggested the president of “Hikari” center Karine Philiposyan to organize this exhibition.
