On February 8, 2018 from 18:30 to 20:30 o’clock at Yerevan State University there was organized a cultural evening by JICA alumni in Armenia.
At the opening of the event, the president of JICA Alumni Association Hrant Zhamharyan introduced to the audience what will take place during the evening.
After that, the president of “Hikari” Armenian-Japanese Scientific, Cultural and Educational Center NGO Karine Piliposyan for half an hour told about origami.
Then for about 20 minutes, the students of her club together with some people from the audience made the origami, which was presented on that day.
Afterwards, there delivered a speech the coordinator of JICA programs in Armenia Ruzan Khojikyan, who is also the president of “IROHA” Armenian-Japanese Cultural and Educational Exchange Center NGO.
First of all she presented mini grants envisaged for JICA alumni in Armenia for the year 2018.
Then she spoke a little about the results of the grants, which have already been carried out up to now.
The last one to speak was Mr. Taiji Notsu with the subject “Religion in Japan”.
There were many questions after his speech
and by 20:30 the audience, which was asking many questions finally decided to finish the evening.
