The Armenian sport lovers will probably be able to frequently see, even to witness the trainings of the strongest figure skaters of Japan. This became clear at the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, where the president of Japan Skating Federation Hedeito Ito and the manager of that organization Tatsuro Matsumura were hosted. They were accompanied to Armenia by one of our famous ex-trainers Ararat Zaqaryan, who now lives and works in Moscow.
The guests visited Tsitsernakaberd (Genocide Museum), put wreaths at the memorial of the victims of genocide. After this, they visited Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex, examined the skating-rink in detail and got a great impression. They were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the skating-rink and especially at the quick ice. In the nearest future Japan will send a big delegation of this sports. Besides the figure skaters, we will also host sports and medical groups and reporters. According to them, the climatic conditions of Armenia are suitable for preparing for Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. They also attached importance to the fact that they can leave for the capital of Winter Olympic Games in just 1-1.5 hours.
Head of the section of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, Ph. D. Gabriel Ghazaryan assured the guests that the authorities of the Olympic Committee would support and contribute to the organization of the trainings of Japanese sportsmen in the best way. And of course, together with the Japanese authoritative sportsmen, Armenian leading and promising figure skaters will also be trained. This is announced by the official website of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia.
