On 15.03.2015 at 10:00-12:00, inthe building of Artists’ Union of Armenia there took place the continuation of the interesting Japanese event organized by the Embassy of Japan in RA and “Hikari” Armenian-Japanese scientific-cultural center. At 10:00-12:00, there was the master class of Sumi-e painting, during which the tutor showed the audience a picture.
Then she approached the people, who had instruments for painting beforehand. She estimated the works done and gave pieces of advice.
At 14:00-16:00 there took place the exhibition of tea ceremony, during which the Japanese master silently made tea and then treated the five guests, who were invited beforehand.
After it due to the interpreter Lilit Khansulyan she told about the tea ceremony and its history, saying beforehand that when making tea it is not allowed to talk, that was why she didn’t speak when she was making tea. Then the audience who were registered beforehand and were of course sitting at the tables, were treated tea. First of all, they put on the table three pieces of sweets and were asked to eat them immediately before drinking tea as it was bitter.
Then after having a break for three hours, at 19:00-21:00 there took place the exhibition of kimonos, which was of course accompanied with the speech of the Japanese woman about the historical remark on kimono.
