Japanese Yamanashi wines were introduced to Areni wineries

Japanese red and white wines from Yamanashi prefecture were introduced to Armenian Areni wineries at the event of Areni Festival Organization on 14 May. Yamanashi prefecture is the pioneer of Japanese wine production.
Owners of Areni winery commented “specific and unique taste”, “Like candy”,”Stronger taste than Armenian one” on the red wine, and “Mild and soft taste”, “Clear and fresh taste” on the white wine.
Most of the guests showed their strong interest and asked what type of grape and barrel were used.
