“Mochitsuki” Party at Japanese “Sakurada” Restaurant on 18.01.2015

On January 18, 2015 for the first time in Armenia there took place “Mochitsuki“ party at Japanese “Sakurada” restaurant. “Mochitsuki” is a Japanese New Year party for happiness and success. The participants of the party were able to see how they cook dishes with mochi. The participants were able not only to see but they were also given the chance to take part in the process of cooking, as for the cooking of mochi much force is required. In the result of the contribution of the force of all participants there were made zoni, osiruko, isobe maki and kinako dishes. These dishes were accompanied by Japanese “Hojicha” green tea.
