On December 6, “Hikari” Armenian-Japanese Scientific, Educational and Cultural has hosted the Japanese scientist, the author of the concept “Virtual Reality” Takeo Kanade.

The event started with the greeting speech of the head of the center Karine Piliposyan.

During the event there was a video telling about the activity of the center.
The students of the center read poems from the book “71 Haikus”, where there were presented the works of the Armenian and Japanese authors.

Karine Piliposyan highly emphasizes the meeting with Takeo Kanade: “Mr. Kanade admires Armenia. I think that the friendship with Armenia will be continuous. He is surprised how developed the IT sphere in Armenia is. I think that there will be support and cooperation in this sphere”.

“I will surely come back to Armenia. I liked the people here. Though Armenia is a small country the IT sphere is rather developed here”, said the scientist Takeo Kanade.

Let’s also mention that yesterday on December 5 the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan awarded Takeo Kanade with RA State Prize for the global investment in the IT sphere.
