Armenian Karate Federation

Non-governmental organization, Armenian Karate Federarion /AKF/ was founded in the year of 1988. The president of the Federation is Grigor Mikhayelyan. AKF has been affiliated to:
● The National Olympic Committee starting from 1991
● The World Karate Federation /WKF/ starting from 1993
● The European Karate Federation /EKF/ starting from 1994
● The International Karate Association /IKA/ starting from 1997

The AKF has been cooperating with the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Armenia from the very day of its foundation.From 2006 The AKF is involved in the program of RA Government “Public Support to RA Sport Federations for sport development”.
