“Japan Day” on November 22, 2016 organized by “Hikari” Center (Video)

On November 22, 2016 from 15:00 to 17:00 p.m. at the National Library of RA took place an event “Japan Day” organized by the Armenian-Japanese “Hikari” Scientific, Educational and Cultural Center NGO. At the opening of the ceremony, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in the Republic of Armenia H. E. Eiji Taguchi greeted the guests.

The event started with the speech of the specialist of the Japanese language at “Hikari” center Mr. Arihiko Hasegawa. At first, he greeted the guests in Armenian, then presented in Japanese his activities in Armenia. His speech was fluently translated into Armenian by Hasegawa sensei’s wife Mrs. Lilit Khansulyan.

After that, different specialists presented the Japanese system of writing, its economy, architecture, holidays and traditions.
At the end of the event, the students of “Hikari” center had a small musical performance.
