PHOTO:Concerts under the Auspices of the Armenian Embassy in Japan

May 26 and 28 Concerts by pianist Mikayel Hayrapetyan, founder of the “Secrets of Armenia” project, and pianist Yulia Hayrapetyan were held in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, under the auspices of the Embassy of Armenia in Japan.

The event held at the Musicasa Concert Hall in Tokyo opened with remarks by Ambassador Monika Simonyan,

who emphasized the importance of presenting Armenia’s rich musical heritage to Japanese audiences. She noted that such initiatives not only help increase Armenia’s visibility in Japan but also bring the Armenian and Japanese peoples closer together through cultural understanding and exchange.

The concerts featured works by Komitas, Khachaturian, Babajanyan, Baghdasaryan, Yekmalyan, Tigranian, Spendiaryan, Barkhudaryan, and other composers of Armenian origin.
