Nikol Pashinyan and the Ambassador of Japan Jun Yamada have discussed Issues Directed at the Development of the Armenian-Japanese Relations

YEREVAN, 19 June, ARMENPRESS: The Prime-Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received the newly-appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Armenia Jun Yamada.

As “ARMENPRESS” was informed by the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Staff of the Prime Minister, the Prime-Minister has highlighted the activation of the Armenian-Japanese relations and its further development. He has also added that the current cooperation has a great potential to be raised to a new level.

Nikol Pashinyan has thanked the Government of Japan for the donation of 200 new cars of the Japanese production to Armenia. He has expressed hope that the close cooperation of the executive bodies of the two countries will contribute to the attraction of the Japanese capital to the Armenian market.

The ambassador has assured that he will make all the possible efforts for the strengthening of the Armenian-Japanese cooperation including the fulfillment of new investment programs in the sphere of economy.

The interlocutors considered promising the strengthening of cooperation in the spheres of industry, information technologies, tourism and other spheres. In that context, the sides have also stressed the importance of the organization of high-level mutual visits.

Nikol Pashinyan thanked the Japanese side for the maintenance of the balanced position in the regulation of Gharabagh conflict. He has also added that it contributes to the peace and stability in the region.
