Japan will Continue to Support Armenia in the Field of Disaster Risk Management

On August 4, Aram Ghazaryan, Director of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, received Masahiro Ueki, Chief Representative of the Georgia Office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and Ruzan Khojikyan, JICA Advisor in Armenia.

Aram Ghazaryan emphasized the importance of the effective cooperation with JICA, noting that the projects implemented with the Agency’s support have made a significant contribution to the technical modernization of the Rescue Service, the enhancement of the professional capacities of its personnel, and the improvement of the country’s disaster risk management system.
